EASEWAVE PRIVACY

Your sounds.
Your space.

EaseWave is made by Andrii Savchenko. This policy covers the iPhone app and easewave.app.

At a glance

EaseWave has no ads, tracking SDKs, or developer-run accounts. Your sound library works locally. Optional sync uses your own iCloud account. The website and catalog use Cloudflare for hosting, and contacting support shares the information you choose to send.

On your iPhone

The app stores your sounds, chosen artwork, sound names, favorites, playback selection, timer preferences, and library records on your device. Importing audio or artwork uses only the files or pictures you select. EaseWave does not record the microphone, monitor your sleep, or access your contacts, location, or health data.

Imported content may be included in your device’s normal backups, according to your Apple settings. Downloaded catalog audio can be fetched again and is excluded from device backup; records of those downloads are retained. Catalog artwork and previews may be cached locally.

Optional iCloud sync

When you enable library sync, EaseWave stores imported audio, chosen artwork, sound metadata, favorites and their order, catalog download choices, and deletion records in your Apple iCloud account. Sync also uses a random identifier for each installation to reconcile changes. It is not used for advertising or analytics.

Your private iCloud library is not available to me through EaseWave’s hosting or developer account. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy policy and your account settings.

Sync is requested at app startup, when enabled, or through Settings → iCloud → Sync now. Changes made later wait for another sync. Network access and available iCloud storage affect when transfers finish; iOS may complete a transfer after you leave the app.

Catalog and website requests

Opening Add Sounds can request the catalog, artwork, and previews from catalog.easewave.app. Downloading a sound requests its files. Your imported audio and artwork are never uploaded to the catalog.

Cloudflare hosts the website and catalog. To deliver files and protect the service, it processes connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, and browser or app information. Its operational and security records and traffic summaries may be available to me for troubleshooting, service operation, and abuse prevention. This information is not used for advertising or to build a listening profile.

The website has no analytics scripts or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may use security cookies when needed to protect the service. Hosting data is retained according to Cloudflare’s service and security retention rules; I do not maintain a separate archive of request logs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices.

When you contact support

If you email ua.tbird@gmail.com, I receive your email address, name if provided, message, and any attachments. I use that information to respond, investigate problems, and handle privacy requests. Email providers process those messages to deliver and store them.

I keep correspondence only as long as needed for the request, related follow-up, or legal obligations. You can ask me to delete it. Please avoid sending sensitive recordings or unrelated personal information.

Your choices and deletion

You can use the app without enabling iCloud sync. You can turn sync off in Settings; doing so leaves existing local and cloud copies in place.

Delete an imported or downloaded sound in My Library to remove it locally. With sync enabled, that deletion is also applied to your synced installations when they next sync. Small deletion records remain so an older installation cannot restore a sound you removed. Deleting a sound inside EaseWave does not delete the original file you imported from Files.

Uninstalling EaseWave removes its local app data but does not erase its iCloud library. You can manage app data and backups through your Apple iCloud settings. I cannot inspect or erase your private iCloud content for you.

Providers and your rights

Apple, Cloudflare, and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their services and applicable safeguards govern that processing. Links to sound sources and licenses open external websites with their own privacy practices.

For support correspondence and service security, I rely on the legitimate interest in answering requests and operating a reliable app. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal information held about you, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
