Using EaseWave
Where are my sounds?
Favorites opens by default. Star a sound in My Library to keep it there; use Edit to reorder favorites. My Library shows all sounds saved on your phone, grouped into categories.
Add Sounds shows catalog sounds you haven’t downloaded yet and a button to add your own. Storage and iCloud controls are in Settings.
Can I play sounds offline?
Yes. Included sounds, completed downloads, and saved imports play from your phone. Download or import a sound before going offline. Catalog browsing and new downloads need a connection unless the relevant preview is already cached.
How do I add my own audio?
Open Add Sounds → Add your own and choose an audio file from Files, up to two minutes long. Give it a name, optionally choose artwork, and use Check the loop before saving. It will appear under Your sounds in My Library.
If a file won’t import, check that it is fully downloaded in Files and can play there. Very large or unsupported files may need to be shortened or converted first.
Why is a download waiting?
Catalog updates, previews, and downloads wait while your main sound is playing. Pause playback to let them continue. Downloads run one at a time; if one fails, check your connection and use Retry. A sound appears in My Library only after its files have finished downloading and passed validation.
How does the sleep timer work?
Open a sound and set its timer. The sound fades out near the end of the selected duration. Choose indefinite playback to keep it playing until you pause it.
After the timer ends, a play command from your headphones or lock screen can restart the sound with the selected timer. Another media app taking over playback can change which app receives that command.
How do I sync or restore with iCloud?
Enable Settings → iCloud → Sync library with iCloud. Sync runs at app startup, when you enable it, or when you tap Sync now. Pause playback first. Later library edits wait for the next sync.
Synced means EaseWave has no pending work it currently knows about. If a transfer is still pending, check your connection and available iCloud storage, then use Sync now again.
On another installation using the same Apple account, enable sync to restore imports and library choices. Use Restore my downloads to download catalog sounds again. Keep your original audio files until you have confirmed that your imports are available in iCloud.
What happens when I delete a sound?
Swipe an imported or downloaded sound in My Library to delete it. Included sounds stay with the app. If iCloud sync is enabled, deletion applies across your synced installations after they sync. An offline deletion waits for the next sync.
Turning sync off keeps existing local and cloud copies. Uninstalling the app does not erase its iCloud content. See the privacy policy for more about data and deletion.
Where can I find sound credits?
Tap the info button beside a sound for its author, source, license, and any modification notes. Credits stay with downloaded sound packs.
